a REALLY rough video from the H40 celebration in California in October of 2018. We met stars of the movie, saw an advance screening of the new film and had yet another tour of Haddonfield. Video is VERY rough, but hopefully you can get an ideo of what it was like for us.

i loved this film as a kid in the 80s remember recording this on VHS taking to my friend's house! Tryed to show this to my ex but het didnt want to watch didn't like it and turned it off half way through!! :O(.... I should of known then ha ha !!....I'd love to visit America and visit all these places! At least us fans can see what its like now from videos like this!!.... Thank you so much!!

Cool. Interesting that in the movie Annie thought they had passed the camp and pleaded for the driver to stop, whereas you mention here that the road leads directly to the camp.
That’s not all… the road that Kevin bacon and company drive to camp on actually takes them away from camp as well!

I was there in May 2018, I visited all the sites and I had a great lunch with cherry pie and a dawn fine cup of coffee sitted at the desk bar of the Double R 👍🖤🥧☕ A great moment of mystery in my life 🤩

oh damn, im sorry about that... such a long and crazy story. we get there at around 2:45PM and are surprised to see a "closed" sign up. Within a minute of getting there though a guy comes out of the office and i figure they just forgot to change the sign so i go to check in. when walking up the guy, who looks like someone time forgot, asks me if i have a reservation. His response when i say yes is a rather loud "AWWWWWW F&CK.....!". he then asks if we could give him a minute and he will be right inside. after going in and sitting down with another guy who looks like squirly dan from letterkenny(Overalls... no shirt underneath) OG guy comes in 5-10 minutes later just to ask us if he can finish his cigarette... which is honestly what we thought we were doing... he eventually goes up to the counter and hops on his computer... i tell him my name to which he asks "what's that"? i remind him its my name... the name on the reservation. He continues to stare and not say anything so i provide the credit card we used to make the reservation and i tell him as much. "what's that now...?". "its a credit card, the one on the reservation... just like i just told you.". he stares at me, takes my card and starts typing again. after a minute he that blurts out that they sold out to 150+ percent capacity... which i laugh at and my wife then points our probably means they don't have a room for us. Him and squirrly dan go back and forth about how in the hell that could happen... and their guess is that online the hotel never showed it was at capacity and the travel sites kept booking rooms they didn't have. My wife and i booked direct with them over the phone so i assumed we were ok. while he was typing away he randomly reaches down in front of him on the counter and pulls out a knife... not a folding knife or a swiss army knife... like a dirty steak knife and asks me "what's this?" while waving it around in front of him and acting like he has no clue what it is. dude kept that up for a solid 30+ seconds. while i sat there dumbfounded wondering when i entered the twilight zone he then says... "well, we will try to take care of you...but its not check in time. check in is at 3, come back then." i legit look up at the clock and its 10 to 3. literally 10 minutes to the supposed check in time. we begrudgingly agree and hop in the car for a quick drive. after about thirty we go back and start talking about whether we want to stay in this sketch pool... and while we are doing this another car pull up right next to us and does a blatant daylight drug deal right next to us. one guy gets out and goes into the hotel office while the other dude takes off... needless to say we got the hell out of there immediately. weren't alone as we were meeting MANY other people doing a children of the corn trip and nobody associated with it was able to get a room. we all booked direct and was even offered a group rate... but when we got there not one single room for us even with reservations. Im missing lots of crazy details, but hopefully it illustrates the insanity of that place. TL;DR- crazy hotel was booked 150% capacity. daylight drug deals and sketchy staff that didn't know what credit cards or knives were while they brandished said knife like they were jason Statham in the expendables.
